During the interactive event the Technical Working Group (TWIG) “Markets & Cash” of the Global WASH Cluster will provide an update on its work and progress . This includes the presentation of the Evidence Review “Cash and Markets for WASH in Emergencies” carried out by UNICEF and the TWIG in 2020.

Using collaborative tools, this session aims to gather feedback on current gaps and challenges related to the implementation of market-based programmes (MBP) and cash and voucher assistance (CVA), as well as strategies to overcome them.

The outcomes of the meeting will inform the further refinement of the TWIG’s strategy and work plan to ensure targeted and quality support to GWC partners, WASH clusters / National Humanitarian WASH Coordination Platforms and humanitarian practitioners.
