User Centred Community Engagement in WASH
In 2017, the Humanitarian Innovation Fund (HIF) launched a challenge to pilot rapid community engagement for user-centred sanitation. Four projects were launched, each with a commitment to take users’ ideas and feedback on board and act upon them.
Four years later, this side event brings together the project partners who implemented the four HIF projects; User Centred Community Engagement (UCCE), led by Save the Children, Oxfam and Eclipse Experience, Welthungerhilfe, with design consultancy Snook, and Qatar Red Crescent Society, with the aim of discussing their learning and the challenges for scaling up user centred design within the WASH sector.
Please join us to add your experiences and ideas to the topic of user centred community engagement and learn from the experiences of the agencies listed above.
